I’m going into old man mode… again! I think magnets make life great! I always found them so magical, which is weird because I later studied the heck out of them as an engineer. I understand the science, but still find them magical to this day! You can aim them at something and it’s like you have telekinesis because you can make object move (yes, only if its made of a magnetic conductive metal)! Never mind that the entire electric car revolution is heavily dependent on magnets too. These things are so cool. They are also totally responsible for the high tech revolution for without them disk drives could not have existed and without the ability to store and retrieve tons of data quickly, we would not have the tech that we have today.  So thank the simple magnet for much of what you enjoy in life!
