We will stay on the ethnicity theme one day longer. Today, I think it’s time to address the ugly racism going on in our home! We will get to the equally ugly ageism at another time. Two things you know about me; I consider myself a funny guy and I like cheese with crackers. The other day when I was innocently enjoying my cheese and crackers, some unnamed family member picked up my box of crackers (pictured above) and said that the name on the box represented me very well. Someone in our family finds me to be an entertaining cracker! I’m complimented that they found me entertaining, but we have to move beyond racial identities in our home. Life will be great if this family can view one another as just people!
